The Irish Amateur Weightlifting Association was founded in 1948 and the link below is a list of lifters Billy Caball has compiled that ranks lifters based on the number of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places they have accumulated during their time competing in the Irish Senior Championships. 38 areas are represented in the results.

Billy Caball would like to thank Paddy Kelly who recorded the results between 1948 and 1977. He would also like to highlight Tommy Hayden who was our General Secretary for 30 years and also a Past President who is our only current member who was also a founder member. Tommy is still coaching and his commitment to the association is now in its 62nd year.
